ITM Public School (E.M), Mayyil had a humble beginning as a nursery school in1999. when the demand for converting this into a full fledged English medium School comes up from the parents and the public of Mayyil and its peripherals, the Trust has converted the nursery into a school in the year 2004. The Trust aimed to provide quality education among the children of the area who are otherwise denied to this, due to poor educational and financial conditions, especially in Mayyil and Kuttiattoor villages. As such majority of children who got admitted to the school in this catchment area are from financially backward families.
